Making BASIS administration work efficiently

SAP BASIS can be considered the foundation of the SAP landscape. This application needs a trained SAP BASIS administrator (often a team) to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth functioning of the entire SAP system. However, manual BASIS administration is inefficient and loaded with challenges. ignio AI.ERPOps applies intelligent automation in a wide range of capabilities to BASIS administration, to relieve stress from BASIS administrators, minimize human errors, and make your BASIS administration smarter. 

Managing SAP jobs is one of the troublesome areas of BASIS operations. In the Eagle release, we focus on enhancing the Job Management functionality. This release will integrate ignio AI.ERPOps with ignio AI.Workload Management to manage and self-heal SAP jobs, using an intuitive dashboard to ensure availability of core business operations and offer convenient reporting and analytics.  

Another integration is built with proactive capacity and problem management of ignio AIOps to ensure SAP ECC and S/4HANA are performing better for faster business operations and an improved user experience. The AI engine within ignio AIOps provides analytics, insight, and data validation of Solution Manager technical monitoring KPIs. 

Yet another capability introduced in this Eagle release is transport impact assessment. This will mitigate the risk of moving transports from development to quality assurance to production and help avoid outages. It also adds enhancements such as ABAP dump analysis with recommendations, Solution Manager alert management, and analytics.

The new release includes an SAP system health check for SAP ECC and S/4HANA. This entails automated code checks for technical and functional transactions, along with autonomous issue resolution. Further, business transaction checks for order-to-cash, procurement, and supply chain business transactions offer complete visibility of the business functions, which supports more timely billing, delivery, invoicing, and so on. This in turn improves customer satisfaction, revenue, and user experience.  

Yet another important capability is a HANA database check, which ensures HANA database functions are error-free. Similarly, the Web UI check capability ensures web UI-related functions are error-free.
